Children’s ages are between 5-14 years old inclusive. Infants between the ages of 2-4 years old inclusive are able to ride our jet boat for free with an accompanying adult. Infants will need to be able to fit in our smallest lifejacket in order to ride.
We do not have a height or weight restriction here at Katoa Lake Rotorua, however, a decision about whether a child/infant is able to ride will be at the discretion of staff upon check in. This may be due to rougher lake conditions than usual, that could impose on the health and safety of smaller passengers.
We have the following restrictions on jet boat rides to ensure the health and safety of our passengers.

Any hat, caps and loose accessories may become property of the lake. You are advised to leave these behind or keep them secure. Katoa Lake Rotorua is not liable for any items you lose whilst riding on the jet boat.
